Can you still do this after dying your hair? Or are you allowed to color your hair afterwards?? I haven't done it yet but I want to… but I also want permanently straight hair and if that means that I'm not allowed to color my hair, so be it~

I had the japanese hair straightening done to my hair about 8 years ago and I loved the result, but it was nightmare later on. My natural hair is no longer curly how it originally was and my hair growth was extremely slow up until the past 2-3 years. I basically lost my natural hair texture after and so now I'm stuck with frizzy/wavy hair. I honestly wish that I had just accepted my natural curly hair when I was younger rather than getting this treatment done.

Maybe you've already tried this, but I really love LUSH's I Love Juicy shampoo for my oily hair. My hair stays fresher longer, I need less product when washing, and I can get away with unwashed hair for longer.
You look like Mitsuru from Persona 3. Gorgeous! People who say they prefer your fizzy hair have never had to deal with frizzy hair. I live in New England and the humidity and fog is real. Wish I could get the Japanese straight perm.

My hair is naturally very straight and super smooth, but it always amazes me what a few chemicals can do for other peoples hair. Looks great!
I need to find some place to do it here in American. I use a strengthening iron to deal with the frizz. Since the perm is done mainly on a yearly basis I can see this as being less damaging for my hair
what's the cut off point for how curly your hair is in order to get this? because my hair is pretty curly but i would love to get it
