This is something New, I believe it's the start of renal failer in part because I'm a retired Vet tech. He's 14 and a half I have one bottle of lactaed ringer which seems to be helping being 1/2 siemese he's a nightmare to give fluids to, or maybe I just caught it early I also notice cat's in renal failer don't sleep well they seem like they drank 10 cups of coffee and just sit and stare. Being disabled is there any where I can get fluids without a prescription I have enough needles and tubes. I know that may be in part why it's perscription. I also don't want to stress him out last time I had everyone's teeth cleaned it's a 45-50 min drive he lost his voice from crying all the way there. I'm still paying on my card from the teeth cleaning. If I have to take him just to get the fluids I will but I know that it's not the liver and he's urinating a lot plus his water consumption had increased, his fur didn't look good but after a week on fluids he looks better and he's not forgetting he already had his can food, as the toxins can build up with renal failer and cause almost like senile behavior. I can promise I Love this guy and if I wasn't sure I wouldn't take a chance but he's like clockwork as to can food except the last month. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Debbie
