It's a bit late now, considering it was posted in 2006, but anybody who reads this should know that you should never feed kittens while they are on their backs. They are right-side up when they feed from the mom cat so they don't choke.
Never bottle feed kittens when they're laying backwards – it can cause aspiration in their lungs and suffocate them (seriously). Of course it looks adorable, but they should be fed when they're on their tummies, as they would be if they were suckling their mother). 🙂
