この映像は、宮城県石巻市の小さな島である田代島（田代島）に滞在中に撮影されたものです。それは、淡路半島の太平洋、淡路の西に位置しています。人口はかなり少ない（人口は約100人、1950年代には約1000人から減少したが）、人口が多い島である。それは猫を食べることは富と幸運をもたらすという地元の信念の結果として繁栄する大きな迷子猫の集団のために "猫島"として知られるようになった。猫の人口は現在、島の人口よりも大きい。

For u Americans or Europeans who concerned about these cats who living all over the street n said japan dont give a shit about them… Listen, the cats are over populated in that island but that doesnt mean they are starving… many kind people actually spare their food for them but still they cant take care of one in their home… Many asian countries has cats majority living on the street, myb some people do kicked them to push them away but there are still many people take care of street cats… N cat actually can survive in nature n stay healthy, as long as the cats didnt got hit by cars (its kinda sad they dont have a home or family) japan is a very eco-friendly country, im sure stray cat in that island or even in the town would live without starving… I would say stray cat from the middle east asia are more concerning. In japan… Its like heaven for cats tbh
