Would love to drive around in a BMW isetta bubble car.It would be right at home with those tiny streets
I remember driving down such street when I was in Japan
How do they pick up the recycling & trash? Do they have very small trucks?
God forbid if a home was On Fire
nice music & movie!
Great music BTW!
Oh wow very narrow road lot of blind spots,, I was wondering where are all the trash dumpsters cuz the garbage trucks not going to go through there, here in California we have Brown dumpster for regular trash blue for recycle papers and green is for yard waste and tree trimming, ok thanks
I like these kinds of videos. It is way better than using Google Streetview :-). It also felt like a slow rollercoaster ride.
Really makes you wonder how those house all got built or even how the road got paved with so little room!!!
In the US all of those would be One Way Streets.
I drive a Hyundai Accent and I don't think I could fit through some of those streets.
It looks so peaceful, but I never see children playing outside in any neighborhood you film (and I mean at a glance not like some predator staying in one spot)
What part of Japan?
Well, after seeing you wave your arms out through the windows ( 0:16 ) I had to go check the maximum width of a Kei car. Turns out it is a mere 1.48 m/4.9 ft, so that should make those roads … very, very narrow!
Great video Dude, I am glad we got to see your new car from the outside, is it a Honda Life? The old Wagon R will be missed but the new car is ver cute, maybe you should give us a tour. I love these street videos as you always find some cool cars and buildings on your way. I love the Rover Mini Cooper and Fiat 500 that were parked outside the house at 1:40 in the video. They must be in their element on these tiny streets. Thank you for sharing, it's great to see all these glimpses of life in Japan.
That is an interesting gate coming up on the left 3:05
With those narrow streets, it's surprising to see quite a few larger cars. Something like that Altezza or some of the MPV's must be quite a pain to drive there…
The streets are so narrow there isn't room for a vending machine along the street, and the man hole covers are over half as wide as the road. LOL
Oof-dah, tight squeeze … Was holding my breath, all the way up.
surprisingly relaxing this n_n
Unless I missed it, I didn't see any posted speed limit signs. I would suppose the limit would be very low, 5 kph, maybe 10? Anyway, it would be an adventure to traverse those narrow streets. Also noticed the 2 people gave you clearance.
Ouch. I'd have a nervous break down trying to drive on such tiny streets. What happens when you meet a car going the opposite direction? Having to drive down one of those streets in reverse would certainly send me over the edge.@@
liked the song
That has got to be a nightmare getting around Japan.
The worst is when you get these roads in the mountains where one side is sheer cliff, have fun when another car comes the other direction lol
So my Ford F-650 would not fit there?
This has to be one of my absolute favourite channels on youtube. Great! And the music was really nice.
the case of head on traffic. who loses (reverses)? lol
As advanced as Japan is, do they offer navigation speacially for trucks? While we mostly don't have streets THAT narrow, we have lots that are unuseable for trucks and a 40 ton truck getting hopelessly stuck is not our of the ordinary because they shut off their brain when using satnav for cars.
Loved the old Mini Coopers I saw are they common in Japan?
Too cool!
Is it safe to assume it is only a one-way road? I simply can't imagine it being a two-way
i didnt think is was so narrow until i saw the austin mini there for comparison 😀
electric K-cars there would make so much sense.
It seems almost un-Japanese to have such a messy infrastructure.
cool that they at least thought of putting mirrors there
Not so different from some of the old cities in Europe really.
