I flew in there from Atlanta on a 172 back in the 70's. There was NOTHING there but biting flies.
video is jumbled and not worth viewing.
Were you just by yourself or with family? I go to St. George Island, which is only a few miles west of Dog Island.
When I was a child we use to sail to Dog Island on the weekends. I am 44 now it sure has been a long time.
Great vid & thank you for sharing this.My friends brother has a home here & I hope to see the island when I come for a visit! Least I have some idea of what to expect.It looks so peaceful!

Dog Island is a place where mostly well-to-do people have beach houses – I wouldn't expect anyone there who would hassle visitors!
If I had the money, I'd LOVE to own a house there.
Also liked the landing – my Dad used to fly us from Valdosta to Dog Island in the early 80's but unfortunately I haven't been there since.
